Greenfield Nursery School work together with other maintained nursery schools in our local area. The SEND Local Offer/Information Report pulls together the joint effort of Hertfordshire Maintained Nursery School to ensure consistency between individual nursery schools so that parents/carers can be certain that their child will get similar support in all Maintained Nursery Schools. Kids

Our local Kids organisation supports the parents of children with special needs and disabilities with information, guidance and the loan of toys. Click here for more information

 

CHIPS

Children’s Integrated Play Schemes, CHIPS offer play and social opportunities for children with additional needs aged 3 to 19 living in East Hertfordshire. Brothers and sisters are strongly encouraged to join play schemes too. CHIPS run a Saturday play session and holiday schemes at Millbrook Primary School in Cheshunt. The HABS team is one of 19 Local Schools Partnerships that provide high-quality services for children, young people and their families in Wormley, Turnford, Broxbourne and Hoddesdon. They are a local organisation that works with school-aged children to address social, emotional and health issues that are barriers to learning; they play a significant role in the lives of many young people and their families. SENDIASS

Hertfordshire SENDIASS is an impartial Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS).

SENDIASS support children, young people with special educational needs and/or disability (SEND) aged 0 to 25 years and their parents on issues relating to SEND. They do this by providing free, confidential and impartial information, advice and support through our helpline service, online resources, at events and workshops as well as through individual casework.
